“After years of going through a lot of different things, I realised that I was bipolar, and knowing more information actually helps me, It doesn’t scare me once I know it. I wanted to know everything about it and it took the fear away.”

“I saw a psychologist. I asked her for my 90-day plan, and my roadmap to getting better. That was 10 years ago [in 2020]. It’s different for everyone, but I can guarantee you, if you seek treatment and get some help, you will get better. I’m happy to say that the relationship I have with my wife and, now, three children, is a lot better.”
On the importance of seeking help

“I settled on a farm for almost 6 to 7 years, and became an organic vegetable farmer. I think healthy exercise and healthy eating and vitamins, all that contributed to [recovering]. And a lot of soul-searching. I still had the same problems I went into the hospital with, but was able, by myself, on that farm, to work them out.”
